We have positions open for bus supervisors at this time.
Instructor Opportunities: Whether you're an experienced instructor or just beginning, teaching skiing or boarding with the Eskimo Club is a rewarding way to spend your Saturdays. If you enjoy working with young people, this is a great avenue to improving your own skills and becoming a more competent teacher. Our instructors are independent contractors and join us for six on-snow days the first three weekends in December. The Eskimo Ski & Board Club is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) and our training conforms to those standards. We use colors to designate each child’s skill levels and will familiarize you with this as well. Additional benefits vary (will explain more in your application information) but all instructors receive a discounted season pass to Winter Park and a substantial membership discount if you have children in the Club. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please contact us.
Bus Supervisor Opportunities: The Eskimo Club needs adult bus supervisors to help provide members with a safe, fun trip to and from Winter Park each Saturday. Your responsibilities on the bus include taking attendance, selling lift tickets, collecting bus fares, making announcements, and reviewing the weekly class and event schedule with members. You also help escort our younger and new members to the Eskimo Headquarters. You may be assigned on a rotating basis to help the children in first aid for an hour at a time.
Benefits consist of bus fare discounts for your child as well as a bus ride and lift ticket for the day for you . You are also invited to join our in-season instructor clinics if you'd like to learn to teach or to improve your own technique.
Please contact us if you are interested in being a bus supervisor on a regular or substitute basis. Be sure to check out the bus information page so you know what stops are located near you.
